The most common way people give up their power is by thinking they don;t have any. -Alice Walker
Homework:
Think about one thing that you tell yourself on a regular basis that may be something that YOU made up and have been carrying that around with you JUST because your insecurities. And then work on telling yourself something new this week.
Great tip, Flavia. I do sabotage myself too often. Now that I read your post, it reaffirmed that I am the one that has the choice. Time to go work out (thanks to you!)
Thanks Flavia, great timing. Even as a fitness instructor I have felt powerless and want to give up at times. Self Sabatoge sucks, thanks for the push to get past it all…
I really enjoy your Motivation Monday posts Flavia, they get my week off to a great start!
I don’t believe in myself, especially when it comes to fitness. I tell myself that “I can’t do that because it’s too hard, or because it’s too challenging, or because I’m not strong enough”. I think I tell myself these things because I am afraid to try something and fail.
My homework this week is to think positive and tell myself that “I can do it and I am strong!” 🙂
I have tried to utilize, nonetheless it does not operates in any way.
