I’m looking at your week 1-2 curve phase eating plan and noticed that you never mix Protein, Carbs and Fats together. Why is that? Also, I have a protein shake for breakfast after I workout which includes frozen mixed berries, protein, almond milk and sometimes either flax seed or chia seeds or coconut oil. Should I leave the seeds/coconut oil off? Should I drop the berries and do greens instead? What greens do you use in yours?

Flavia doesn’t recommend combining carbs and fats together because they use the same energy pathway to digest so one of them is more likely to be stored as fat. You can include some of the seeds but I would keep the fat content under 10 grams. Flavia recommends Athletic Greens for a greens supplement. 🙂
