    Hey Flavia,
sweet potatoes (carbs) after workout only?

    🙂

    • Anna says:

      Hi Denitze,
it depends on your goals, and what time you workout. Sweet potatoes are a great carb source and should be eaten with your designated P + C meal.
      All the best!

Wow, I eat most of the foods listed except fish oil and beans. 🙂

Hi Flavia, thanks for the information this is very helpful! I never realized that fish oil and grapefruit helped contribute to weight loss.

    Thanks again!

    Flavia,
I wanted to get your take on the whole Intermittent Fasting and skipping breakfast. It seems a little confusing and counterproductive. I just wanted to find out what you thought. Thanks for your time!!

I think this is a great list! Although I would definitely stick to 100% grass fed beef…the fat profile is much healthier and the cows are treated humanely =)

    Hey Flavia,
About turkey you mentioned it contained the amino acid trytophan
I was wondering if im ok to take a trytophan supplement – if such a thing even exists!!!
Its just that it seems to address two things i have SERIOUS ISSUES with – mood and sleep lol
Do you know if there is any all natural organic trytophan supp that i could purchase?
    Thank you 🙂

      Hi Jabeen,
I’m not sure about tryptophan supplements. I know inositol helps balance neuro transmitters and promotes more restful sleep. Vince recommends it and I have experienced deeper sleep when I take it.
      All the best!

I am going to be 50 years old and am having a very hard time losing any weight. I have purchased Flavilicious and Curalicious and exercise regularly using both routines. I am trying to figure out how many calories to eat. Do I use the cut phase all the time with one cheat day each week? How do I figure out my calories when I want to drop weight? If I use my current weight, it seems like I will be eating too many calories.

    • Anna says:

      Hi Shelley,
I highly recommend sticking to Flavia’s Curvalicious nutrition plan. Have a read through the manual again. The most important thing is the quality of the food. Eating highly nutritious foods like the ones listed above and that are written in Flavia’s programs should lead to successful fat loss.
      All the best!

Okay, one more question, shoud I calculate my calories based on my current weight or the weight I would like to be (about 15 lbs. lighter). Right now, it indicates that I can eat 1800 calories on the Curve phase and 1500 on the Cut phase. I am afraid to eat that much since I gain weight so easily. Currently, I eat around 1400-1600 calories and for the most part, make healthy choices.
