I’ve some questions Flavia:
1. Is eating meat every day not unhealthy?
2. Can I maintain my bodyweight, but reduce bodyfat and increasing muscles? What should I do for this? Now I’m about approx. 20,5 % of body fat and would be glad to reduce it to 15 %.
But I will not reduce my bodyweight, because then I look very piddly.
Can you please help me?
Thanks Danja,
1. No, it is not unhealthy. There are a lot of nutrients that are present in meat and meat also has complete proteins necessary for almost every chemical reaction that occurs in our body.
2. There is no simple answer…this is what Curvalicious is all about. You need to eat nutritious foods at the proper times and lift heavy weights.
How can I as vegetarian lose fat, build muscle, and sculpt at the same time or do I have to go step by step to achieve my fitness goal?
Flavia just wrote a great article on a vegetarian diet. https://flaviliciousfitness.com/2012/10/07/vegetarian-diets-for-women/ It depends on your fitness level, if you are just starting out with weightlifting it is very possible to loose fat and build muscle at the same time. If you have already been weight training for a while then you will see the best results if you focus on one goal at a time. This is a step by step process, it takes time but if you stay committed to it you will see awesome results!
Hey Tiffany. Being a vegetarian makes it a little tougher because you have to make sure you are eating complete protein throughout the day. Find out how combining foods makes complete protein and you will be able to build muscle like the meat eaters 😉 It is important to have carbs for muscle building so that part you have covered. Stick to legumes and grains without gluten or wheat for the best results.
