Happy week before Christmas!
After another crazy weekend, I am sitting on my couch not feeling too hot! I think I am a little worn down.
For those who don’t know, I am registered pediatric nurse and have been working at a sick children’s hospital for 8 years. I took the entire year off to focus on my fitness business but after a couple of months of feeling pulled to go back to work with kids again, I finally took the plunge and put in a couple of shifts this past week.
It is great to be back. I missed those booger filled kids. I GOT SICK! Kids are not very good at covering their mouth when they cough. I had one not isolated, coming up from ER that coughed right into my eye. I knew from the sound of the cough that I was going to get whatever he had.
So now I am sitting with kleenex shoved up my nose and popping every vitamin known, along side of whole garlic cloves and oil of oregano, praying that this will leave me.
I don’t have time to get sick! I am not done my Christmas shopping and I have to finalize colors on our new home my hubby and I are building.
On another note, I wanted to share something that was sent to me today that I think you are really going to love.
A few weeks back I wrote a post on activating your glutes. It was a hit and I had many questions on building muscle on your backside so you don’t get called ‘pancake butt’ anymore.
If you are looking to add some muscle to your glutes, you want to check this out:
My friend Nick emailed me after he saw the comments I was getting and thought you should see this too. I had a look through it and OH YEAH, it rocks.
These techniques show you ways you can add muscle to your butt in just a few minutes a day. These techniques are killer. I will have to steal some of them for myself 🙂
I can’t wait to feel better and hit my glutes with some serious attention.
These moves also work from home…pretty sweet. Check them out and train hard my friend.

Interesting article about the glutes, I will try to incorporate it into my routine. So sorry your sick, I hope you get better soon! I’m sick as well, I think I have a virus. I have been taking 3 to 4 doses of athletic greens a day, vitamin c, d, zinc, krill oil, and BCAAs. I haven’t been able to exercise, I’m hoping I’ll be a bit better tomorrow.
sorry you are sick too. I hope you’ll be better too. I am a bit but just drained of energy. First time being sick this year and I am so thankful for that. Sounds like you have a great stack going.
That sucks Flavia, hope you get better soon! At least Vince will HAVE to pamper you, HA!
Anyways… I have found taking 1g of L-Lysine before bed has been helping me a lot.
I haven’t had another Herpes Simplex outbreak and my nose behaves a lot better.
Thanks, Flavia for finding time and introducing us with these core butt exercises.
