I took Milia to the movies for the first time a couple of weeks ago. She loved the big screen, loud sounds, and the comfy chairs. But her favourite thing was the popcorn.
Who doesn’t love a large, buttery popcorn when watching a movie?
I was standing in the kitchen with my soon-to-be sister in law and was telling her about Milia’s new adventure. She quickly began to tell me about a popcorn recipe she’s been making over the past few weeks.
She and I began to create magic in her kitchen so the next time Milia wants to watch a movie, I’ll mix up a batch. I think she’ll like this popcorn better than the cinema popcorn.
This classic popcorn recipe is AMAZING.
This classic popcorn recipe contains NO butter but still has that fantastic buttery taste! I love this recipe!
I’m not one to steal someone’s recipe so I wanted to ensure I give credit where credit is due 🙂 Randa is my top massage therapist and you can find out some more about her here.
With a popcorn high, I ventured to create a few more amazing popcorn recipes that I can make on a weekly basis. Below you’ll find 4 recipes in total.. I love them all and now make them on a weekly basis.

Yes – 1/3 a cup.. Forgot to paste it across all recipes.. Fixed now 🙂
The one recipe says a 1/3 cup of popcorn kernels. I think that is right for all 4 recipes.

I use a pop corn machine that hot-air pops and blows the corn into a big bowl. It is dry i.e. no fat and dry ingredients tend not to stick to it. Any thoughts on how I can adapt your flavourings to deliver them AFTER and not during the popping process, please?
You can probably melt the coconut oil in the microwave and slowly pour it onto the popcorn.
Try pouring some, mix, pour some more, mix, etc.
Should work fine since the same is done with butter.
The garlic butter popcorn is absolutely delicious. Great little snack to enjoy anytime of the day!
Yeah, popcorn is a great low calorie snack when you’re trying to lose weight. I’m surprised it doesn’t get more attention than it does. Although I suppose if you’re cutting you should avoid snacking altogether… but it comes in handy for those moments of weakness 😉
