      How to Use Coconut Oil for Speedy Weight Loss

      Coconut oil naturally solidifies at 76F so it is best to liquify it in hot water before consuming as a weight loss aid.

      Twenty minutes before mealtime is the best time to take your coconut oil as it will significantly reduce appetite and help you to feel full more quickly and be satisfied with smaller portions.

      To liquify, mix 1-2 TBL of coconut oil in a mug and add hot water or herbal tea. Stir to melt and drink. Use the following guidelines to determine how much oil to consume before each meal:
      •90-130 lbs, use 1 TBL coconut oil before each meal for a total of 3 TBL per day.
      •131-180 lbs, use 1.5 TBL coconut oil before each meal for a total of 4.5 TBL per day.
      •Over 180 lbs, use 2 TBL coconut oil before each meal for a total of 6 TBL per day.

      Alternatively, you can simply eat the coconut oil and let it liquify in your mouth for a few seconds before swallowing.

    Flavia, you are amazing. And in this case, you didn’t do your homework. Coconut oil is ADVERTISED as good for you, but when you dig deeper, you find the truth about how bad, even deadly, it really is. Dig deeper. Your loyal supporters deserve the truth.

        Candy, my wife is a doctor. She deals with the devastating effects of coconut oil on people every day. Usually, the worst cases are those who “think” they know about coconut oil, palm kernel oil, canola oil, etc. They “think” they’ve researched it because they read something put out there that sounds good. THEN… when they dig deeper, suddenly they find tons of research telling the truth about the coconut oil scam and how deadly it is. I sincerely hope you find out before you are too far into it to recover.

          I have to say that I can’t believe that is true about coconut oil. My doctor told me what I eat doesn’t show up in my breast milk…just because she is a doctor doesn’t make everything she says correct 🙂

          C’mon, Flavia. You jumped in this first. If you found out that it IS TRUE that coconut oil is devastating to people’s health, what would you DO? What action would you take?

    I am currently completing a degree in naturopathy and all my lecturers have been telling me it’s great for you! Here’s why: it mostly consists of saturated fat making it stable under high cooking temperatures (as stated above), it contains active polyphenol components which are useful in reducing bad cholesterol (LDL and VLDL), increasing good cholesterol (HDL) and lowering oxidation of LDL’s. It mostly consists of medium chain fatty acids, such as lauric acid which is useful in soothing an inflamed gut and works as an anti-microbial by killing bad bacteria, viruses and fungus which may be disturbing your gut health. These are just a few of the awesome effects of coconut oil which are all backed up by science.
