    I’ve read a couple of fitness magazine articles that said the leg extension machine was really bad for your knees and to skip it. What’s your opinion? Thanks.

      I use the leg extension machine all the time. It is believed the placement of the padding being at the anckle is the problem. If you incorporate all types of functional exercises in your routine, you should create strong knees. I have never had an issue and if you feel any pain in your knees, simply stop using the leg extension machine.

    Hi Flavia,

    I really love the update videos you send out to us. It is great of you to share all the good information you have. My question is totally not related to your workouts, but your workout attire. I thought I remember reading on the blog a long time ago about your workouts outfits but cannot find it now. I need a really good sports bra that is padded for both “headlight” coverage as well as the “not smashed flat” feel or look. Can you please give me some ideas or name brands to look at. Thank you so much for all you do for us.

    Love the video! Your legs really look great, massive! 🙂 Your arms look really good when your doing the wall sits as well. Your outfits are always cute, I like your necklace too. Are you doing any extra cardio or just 1 workout a day?

      Yes, I am doing 5 30 minutes HIIT for the last 4 weeks. I may need to cut back though because I am ahead of schedule…or I may do my photo shoot a week early. Started with my normal 3-4 days 20 minutes and bumped it up this week.

    Just a quick comment about the sound quality. I have found it difficult to hear what Ryan is saying as he is not miked up and he is drowned out by the ambient noise in the gym. Turning up the volume doesn’t help as it turns up the ambient noise. On the other hand it is easy to hear Vince’s commentary as he is close to the camera mike. Perhaps you could suggest to Ryan to come closer to the mike when he is speaking, or if you guys filmed when the gym was not so busy. Very difficult to know what he is saying a lot of the time.

    Hi Flavia,

    Thanks for all the fab workout videos, I would love to try them all, but really don’t know which order I should add them to my workouts in, or does this make a whole lot of difference? I currently weight train on a Monday, weight train combined with bodyweight on a Tuesday, weight train combined with bodyweight on a Thursday and sprints and some bodyweight on a Saturday, I was wondering if I could add an extra day, say Friday and use all of your exercise videos on this day? Is this something you would recommend, as I know in FBL you advise working muscles in a way that they do not get unbalanced, and I fear this could happen if I do the above?

      I would recommend that you hit all the muscle groups throughout the week: back, chest, bi’s, tri’s, shoulders, quads, hams, calves, glutes, abs. Hit all those within the week and you should maintain balance. Hope that helps.
