Early Bird Morning Workout!
Kick start your day with a workout to get you going. This will brighten your day and ensure you have time for other activities after work!! This is a great idea for those who have busy life styles and tend to miss and/or put off workouts that they say they want to do.
Thanks for a great workout Flavia! I woke up with no intentions of working out, but then I went to check my email and saw this. I was like oh it’s on! Your are always so motivating!
For the alt lunges is it 30 of each or all together?
Looks great, thanks
30 lunges all together 🙂
All the best!

Did this workout this morning and it was great! Thank you Flavia!
Are there videos anywhere of what these exercises should look like? Thanks
I stumbled across this site about a month ago and love getting all the info. and workouts in my email! I am considering purchasing the DVDs sets (Full-Body-Licious and Curvalicious). Does anyone know if these workouts can be done at home? I am currently not a member of a gym and probably won’t be for a while due to distance, my husband’s work schedule, and having two small children. Thanks!
Hi Stacey
Both workouts you mentioned have “at home” versions. You may need a couple different sets of dumbbells and a stability/exercise ball. My gym membership expired just over a month ago and I am just doing my workouts at home now.
All the best
Carolyn
Sorry Stacy – did not mean to spell your name wrong!! 🙂
Would this be considered HIIT?
Hi Marie,
Yes, this would be a great HIIT workout, make sure you really bring it hard during the HIT portions! 🙂

Can I do this on an empty stomach like fasted HIIT? I don’t have much time to wait around in the mornings while food digests before I perform a cardio workout.
Hi Heather,
It would be fine to do this on an empty stomach, first thing in the morning. I would suggest having some BCAAs before/during your workout to ensure you are not burning muscle.
All the best!

Thanks for the quick reply Anna! I was wondering about supplementing my workout with BCAAs or protein powder but I wasn’t sure what the difference between the two supplements were. I am a college student and can only afford one of the afore mentioned products. Which would better encompass my needs (build muscle)?
You’re welcome Heather! 🙂 Since your main goal is to build muscle I would so go with whey protein. This will be great to have pre workout, post workout, or whenever you’re in class, or crunched for time and cannot fit in a meal. Preferably you get most of your calories from whole foods but it is totally fine to include whey whenever needed. If you’re main goal was to lose fat I would say go with BCAAs as they can still stimulate protein stimulus and keep you from going catabolic but they do not contain calories as the whey protein does (which is needed to build muscle).
All the best!
