i just wanted to be able to thank you for that. that helped me quite a bit having a project i done. at the beginning my partner and i tried just using simplexml you just read any 400mb xml data file and effectively, php was not having that. currently it may make 20k files nevertheless it removes these if it is completed and everything is usually functioning good. thanks a lot!
