Here’s 5 More Spices to Add to Your List

Cloves

This spice is great in bread, pumpkin pie or soups and chili. Very high in manganese, acts as an anti-inflammatory and because of the mild anesthetic it can aid with pain like tooth aches.

Cumin

This add a great nutty, pepper flavor to chili, Mexican and Tex-Mex and Middle Eastern meals. High in iron provides energy and immune function and digestion.

Dill

Is great tangy flavor to pickles, salad dressing and fish. It provides Vitamin C and manganese but not as much as other spices. It helps protect against free radicals and carcinogens.

Ginger

Great in Asian dishes and is great for gastrointestinal problems and antioxidant effects and aids in anti-inflammatory problems. It’s been know to help with nausea and vomiting as well.

Mustard seeds

Adds flavor to many pasta salads and dressings. This seed is known for its phytonutrient compounds which aids against gastrointestinal cancer.
