Hi Flavia,
I usually love the sort of exercises you advocate, but for some time I have been put off doing “crunch”
type ab exercises and prefer to do more compound exercises. Although I know crunches do work in developing the Rectus Abdominus I feel they put a strain on the lower back.
Can you recommend any adaptations for the crunch which would make them more back friendly.

Hey Jane,
Stick to just planks and different variations of them for now and avoid any crunches. Planks are still an effective way to work your abs. 🙂
