That’s awesome Flavia! Congradulations to you both! I’m very interested in female fitness during pregnancy. I’ve never actually known any ladies who were fit pre-pregnancy and continued with their routine (allowing for modifications of course). I’ve read about female fitness during pregnancy and what usually goes along with it but it’s not quite the same as witnessing/personal experience. If it’s not too intrusive, could you possibly do a monthly update with how your pregnancy is affecting your fitness routine (things you’ve changed in your routine, if your diet has altered, moves done pre-pregnancy vs moves done during pregnancy)? And I can’t wait until the clothing line comes out! I always feel like I perform better when I’m wearing cute, comfortable workout gear. You’re the best!
Lol that would be so cool! I’m hoping to have children someday but all the ladies (around) my age-20/25-either already have children or are pregnant, but none are as interested in fitness as I am nor have a “fitness based” body (includes pre-, post-, during pregnancy). I would love to know how becoming pregnant affects a fit and healthy lifestyle and how great/little the changes are between pre-pregnancy life vs during/post-pregnancy life. The only articles I’ve found so far basically state “It’s okay to workout during pregnancy but modifications will need to be made.” While I appreciate the advice and recommendations, it’s not exactly the information I’m searching for. A “Pregalicious Plan” would be so interesting and different than any other fitness program for pregnant females. The only types of exercise plans I’ve seen for expectant ladies are pilates or yoga based. It would be neat to see something that goes beyond the “beginner” stages of exercise for pregnant females that already have a really good fitness based body.
Yeah Flav! Please share! My husband and I are trying to get pregnant and I have no idea about fitness during pregnancy. I trust you and your advice. You’re the real deal.
Yay! Congtaz 🙂 Will you be making a prenancy & post-pregnancy workout video that we can purchase? I have wondered how to stay fit while pregnant and post-baby- bump. Of course, your health always above my selfish needs !I knew it!
Congratulations!!! You and Vince will be amazing parents. I’ve seen and tried fitness programs from over a dozen well respected internet fitness professionals, and yours are are by far my favourite, for their organization, relevant information, and effectiveness without the complexity. That said, I too would totally be all over pregnancy and post pregnancy workout tidbits or programs from my fitness role model.
Many, many congratulations to you and Vince! So pleased for you both. I had a feeling when I watched one of your videos and noticed you were looking more curvier than usual. I’m glad you are including us readers on your very special journey. Make sure you get Vince to rub your feet every evening! You’re going to be awesome parents :))
Flavia, Congratulations to you and Vince! What an amazing life change you are about to embark upon!

Wow Congratulations guys Thats so exciting! It would be so great if you could blog pregnancy excersises and workouts as you go please!!! Im currently 26 weeks pregnant and am still maintaining a weekly workout routine of weight training and cardio (mostly water aerobics!) but in regards to the weight training i research a lot and just do what my body feels is right but it would be amazing to have your guidance on pregnancy fitness and weight training while pregnant please!!!
Congrats on the baby news Flavia! Can’t wait to see your journey and hopefully your advice for other mums to be. We are planning on starting a family soon and I really want to stay in shape. Would love some advice once you’ve gone through it yourself 🙂 All the best xx
Congratulations! As you already know, you can do anyting in your pregnancy you did before. With my first preg, I was squatting 95lbs 2 days before I gave birth. Worked out up until end of 2nd preg too. It helps labor go nice and easy and I was in reg clothes week after birth. And I only gained 20lbs each preg. When I emailed before and asked for upper body workouts I forgot to mention I am not a beg, I have been lifting for about 8yrs. I just wanted a refresher. Started to plateau. Anyway your website is great bc your body type is very similar to mine. I am very petite and like to maintain muscle. Not too obnoxious but obvious for all the work I put in.. And here is a little tip no one told me in beg…contractions hurt like a mother…… 🙂 I never write strangers, Im not that person. But good workout tips/video. Like how you explain what it works. My problem area is outer thigh its only place I store fat. I am not as disaplinned with my diet as you but I try. I am misplelling like crazy bc its bath time for my kids. 🙂 Please help with tips on my stupid fatty area. My husband says not bad at all but its my insecurity 🙁
